Most of the faculty has left for the day, and most of the students cleared out the mo- ment the bell sounded. Who is hanging around? Sponsors and coaches give up their time to work with students. These teachers were asked why. lt's not for the money! What is it that our school and students had to give these teachers? Mr. Ken Holmes received fulfillment out of helping people orient their goals. Mrs. Cindy Edwards said, I have 'I -414 Faculty learned a lot about accepting all different types of people. Notonly dothese teachers deal with students academically, they also care about their feel- ings. Mrs. Kathy Tetheroh said, l hope to let many of the students here know that they are loved and that life is worth living. Teachers wanted to see their students grow. Mrs. lob- ynia Caldwell answered, Teaching has been rewarding, because many of our students further their education. lt's great to see how successful they become in their chosen profession. Although the teachers may have seemed like the cruelest people alive at times, they cared, and they did not give up on their students. Mrs. Sue Morris said, the students for the most part are seekers and doersf' Mrs. Nancy Ford hoped to gain greater insight each year into which activities aided her students' learning. l am al- ways exposed to students with varied back grounds and in- terests which help expand my horizons. Teachers anc students learned constantly from one another, which made the year rewarding and enjoy- able. Eriendships gained witl students and teachers througl various activities added ar extra demension to school. Ms Vaunda Pearson explained What I have gained and hope to gain go beyond simply ex tending a social circle. Miss Patsy Willis organizes a slide show for her students. Miss Willis spent her spring break in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The great outdoors!
