n Unforgettable Y ar 'Your senior year will be the most un- forgettable year in your life. All students have been told this by every adult. Being a senior isn't all it's cracked up to be: seniors have more pressures to deal with than ever before. Suzie Senior has to deal with SAT's. keeping her car running, maintaining her grades, and college applications. Social life you ask? lt's non-existant...not enough money or time. She has recieved a notice informing her to take her senior porlraits on the same day as her SAT's. With all these stress inflicting pressures, how is anyone to cope, especially while trying to escape the uncurable 'SENIOR- lTIS'? However, those who do succeed, are greatly rewarded at graduation. Why is a law passed or rejected? This class is designed to teach a person his rights under the law. A govemment teacher, Mrs. Carter. hopes students will 'come to understand the basic functions of govemment.' She says,'The govemment affects all of our lives, and I think it's important to under- stand what is happening in it ' A senior explained that from govern- ment class she can better understand the news programs and the way her govemment works.
