Dr. Edi- son received her master's degree from Old Dominion University, ahd her doctor- ate from Virginia Tech. So far, she feels that the overall atmosphere here is that everyone seems to work together democrati' Cally. l love it. We have fine students, and they seem to like schoolf' Because she is from Brandon, she's already familiar with rhariy of the students. Believe it or not, an assis- tant principal still has time for other things. Discipline with A Smile Every year brings new faces to the school, but this year we had an extra ordi- nary addition 'CO the admiri- istration, Dr. Davis. Since she is new here, not too many people know her background. Dr. Davis was born in Mas- sachusetts, but spent most of her life in the Tidewater area. After receiving her bachelors and masters de- grees at Old Dominion Uni- versity, she went to West Virginia University in order to receive her doctorate. Before coming to Green Run, she worked in a few schoolsinwest Virginia and several other places in Vir- ginia, however, now that she's here, she loves it.
