FOR THIS IS LIFE AT G.R.H.S. The friendly smiles and cordial HI Seeing friends as you walk by ... Girls in huddles along the halls ... The boys standing against the walls ... The rush to beat the final bell, To be in your seats before the teachers yell. Lunch time! And you're off to eat! While you wait, a friend you meet. Meetings, classes, dances, fun. Assemblies, parties for everyone; The letter that you finally got. With hope and work and sweat was brought. The boy that helped you along the way, The girl that cheered you on each day ... Work, smiles, laughter, and tears, Hopes, joys, love and fears ... A little more - A little less, This is life at G. R.H.S. 2 She loves me, She loves me not. Wide-eyed and smiles in the world today. Deep thought is the answer. ■If To wake up in this world, what Happiness. It's nice to have someone to lean on. The joy of living. 3 V hum ... that must be the 36-24-36. To every down, there's a new beginning. Will he, or won't he? And what do I do if he does? The glory of achievement. « Faster than a speeding turtle. 4 Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm Happiness doesn't come from doing what we want to do Is this womans lib or what? but from liking what we have to do.” First we learn to read, then we read to learn. Life is an exciting business and most exciting when it is lived for others. 5 -r1 pH ll| DEDICATION j-T1 LlJt1 h. AIMIINISST PRINCIPAL'S In this day of constant bombardment from all directions and from all different types of media, it is refreshing to pause and recall the good things that have happened during die 1971-1972 school year. As you look back through the pages of this annual, the pleasant memories will be the most lasting ones, the funny incidents will be remembered longer than the sad, and the real friendships will last through the years. Remember with fond emotion those things that are good, and discard those that do not measure up to a high standard.
