The Distributive Education course prepared students for careers in the labor market. 4-H Club Ms. Ethel Holmes and Mrs. Melanie Thibodeaux, spon¬ sors of the 4-H Club, and the members worked very hard throughout the year fulfilling the purposes of the organiza¬ tion. In addition to their state and regional projects, the members delivered boxes to the needy families at Thanksgiving and Christmas. For Easter they delivered tissues to members of a nursing home. Members of the 4-H Club are pictured below, Seated: Veronica Jackson, Lashunda Bradley, Jacqueline Player, Marcus Hall, Lisa Cathron, and Lezeka Armstrong. Speech and Drama students joined together to form a Drama Club at Green Oaks. This provided an opportunity for the development of skills in public speaking, ac¬ ting, and producing plays. Each year we look forward for their major production. They also took part in several tournaments.
