The library provided a place for students to study, do research, find interesting reading for relaxation and to use the current periodicals for up-to-date information. Mrs. Ruby Horton, librarian, provided the assistance. Counselors and Librarian The counselors assisted students in planning class schedules, career and college choices and other general and personal problems they had. Under their skillful attention, many students were able to make plans for a rewarding future. 76 Office Personnel Heaven help the school that does not have an efficient office staff. These people, to say the least, are indispen¬ sable. Staying in the background the office staff controlled many functions of the school. The attendance clerk, registrar, Bookkeeper, receptionist and secretaries were responsible for part of the overall operation of the school.
