Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps 4 The junor unit of the Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) at Green Oaks High School is the beginning step to train students to become officers in the United States Armed Services. The main propose is to develop students for positiosn of military leadership. The students take ROTC training in addition to regular schoolwork. During the summer after their junior year, the cadets take six weeks of field training. The Green Oaks staff pictures left include Staff Sgt. George Noble, Lt. Col. Eddie Mebane and MSgt. Eddie M.
