Business Education For Mrs.Cadman (left), it is a pleasure to t teach clerical office practice. She enjoys helping I the students pursue their goals toward being a future business leader. Mrs. McMillan teaches Accounting, Shor¬ thand, and typing. She thrives on instructing students to work hard and think big. Her motto is “if you don’t know it, learn it.” The Business Education courses prepare the students to face the world of business. Giving students the key to unlock the future. These business courses, such as book¬ keeping, shorthand, clerical prac¬ tice, typewriting, and general business, give the students a foun¬ dation to reach their goal. Mrs. Tinsley gives directions to Joyce Taylor as she prepares for a typing drill. 61

Distributive Education Distributive Education prepares students for jobs. This program is designed to introduce students to the business of the retail or wholesale marketing and the distribution of pro¬ ducts. Students work a portion of each day in a business and attend regular classes at school. Green Oaks High School students who wish to engage in business ventures to lengthen their cooperative business, education pariticipate in the DE program. They get themselves ready to earn a living by participating in the economic activities of consumer and producer cooperatives.
