John Baldwin Assistant Principal Mr. John Baldwin is Assistant Principal in Instructions at Green Oaks. He gives help where it is needed, working with both students and teachers to enhance the overall instructional program. Mr. Baldwin constantly encourages students to strive to expand their educational horizons. When he is not at school working he is traveling. Interna¬ tional traveling is Mr. Baldwin ' s hobby. He has been to all of the countries in Western Europe, as well as Hungary, Yugoslavia, Mex¬ ico, Japan, and the People’s Republic of China. His favorite destinations are France and England, where he earned his Master ' s degree at the University of London in 1978. Mr. Baldwin is currently con¬ cluding his thirteenth year at Green Oaks and says he has found many experiences here over the years to be very enriching. He looks forward to continued growth of the school and expects it to become an in¬ creasingly vital part of the community. Mr. Baldwin takes and pleasure in helping Calvin Smith with a problem. Mr. Baldwin stands with some trinkets he collected while traveling. 36

Huey J. Hunt Assistant Principal Mr. Hunt’s job can be a dif¬ ficult one at times. He is Ad¬ ministrator Assistant principal and his duties include supervi¬ sion of students attendance, an working effectively with classroom discipline. He must also maintain and open-door policy which stimulates staff and parental involvement. Most of all he must have a deep con¬ cern for people.

Counselors and Librarians Mr Nathaniel Harvey, sophomore and senior counselor. Mrs. Bobbie Kendrick, Sophomore and junior counselor. The counselor work diligently with the students assisting them with class schedules, personal problems, graduation requirements and testing. They also work closely with teachers and administration as they plan career and other guidance services. Not pictured is Mrs. Pearl White, freshman counselor. The library provides an excellent collection of books, journals, periodicals, cassettes, tapes, films and others AV materials for students and faculty.Mrs. Rubyorton, librarian, works on a book order.
