Choir Plus Orchestra The Choir and Orchestra per¬ formed together many times dur¬ ing the year to the delight of the student body and the community. Directing the choir was Mrs. S. Wilson. Outstanding Orchestra members were MaJvin Murff, Gregory Turner, Martha Green and Sandra Murff. The Choir gives an open air concert during a lunch break.

FHA HERO Club—Everyday Life Proud of succeeding in their goals and striving for the perfect roles are our FHA HERO members. They are front row—Derrick Tyson, Stephanie McCarter, Sol Moore, Ellis Young, Randy Smith, Derrick Fitzpatrick, Milton Miller, LaTasa Spearman, Lessie James, bottom row—Mrs. Alice Leake, I ashanda Bradley, Tracy King. Talicia Moore, Stephanie Smith, Mario Young, Willie Mae Williams, Delores Herrin, Stevie Grundy, Tonya Willis, Charlotte Harris, and Ms. Rosetta C. Boone. Leadership—“Our Effort Is Our Goal” Leaders of tomorrow achieving their wants today and preparing for their need in the future. Participating in service projects and attending District and State meetings are just some of the many efforts the FHA HERO Club assists in. Make Great Music Senior Orchestra members pictured at left are Stephanie Jackson, Shannon Armstrong and Martin Green. The orchestra, under the guidance and direction of Mr. Lorenzo Williams, experienced a very successful year. 1985-86 members were Alvin Morgan, Stephanie Jackson, Euronda Smart, Ruth Wyatt, Sandra Abraham, Shannon Armstrong, Gregory Turner, Cynthia Murff, Neki Graham, Rickey Cooper, Repunda Jones, Treshell Murff, Renee Stewart, Martha Green, Malvin Murff.
