Y-Teens—Service Oriented The Y-Teens, under the sponsorship of Mrs. Jessie Ferdinand, Members are: Monica Lewis, Cindy Young, Wander James, Aubra emphasized service to the school and community as their main Gantt, Deloris Herrin, Katrina Pipkin, Sheldon Hewitt and Sheila objective for the 85-86 school year. Visits the nursing homes and a Murray, special project for the Branch Library were their main activities. Go Science Club To encourage a love for science, and to develop an awareness of how vital science is to our daily lives were the main functions of the science club. The Future Business Leaders of America is a club that helps prepare business students for a future in the business world. To become a member students must be enrolled in one of the classes offered by the Business Department have a “C+ GPA and good citizenship qualities. The Green Oaks chapter attend the regional and state con¬ vention and several field trips to area businesses. The members worked on com¬ petitors for skill events to determine the outstanding member for each quarter. Mrs. Charlotte Cadman sponsors the Green Oaks Chapter.
