Each year the lovely young ladies at Green Oaks look forward to the opportunity to display their talent and beauty. The audience looks forward to an evening of great entertainment. Among the winners in the calen¬ dar Pageant was Rufaro Lewis, MISS FEBRUARY. Rufaro recently transferred to Green Oaks and has won a place in the hearts of the student body. MISS MARCH, Gloria Carter was another winner in the pageant. Gloria is a senior and is looking forward with great an¬ ticipation to a May graduation. Bridgette Anderson, MISS APRIL, is a junior. Bridgette is active in many of the activities around the campus and in her community. Latonja Barfield, MISS MAY, is a drum majorette for the Green Oaks’ marching band. She is a favorite of her class and popular with the entire student body. MISS SEPTEMBER was Michelle Browder. Michelle par¬ ticipated in drama and speech ac¬ tivities. A display of trophies, pla¬ ques and certificates is evidence of her talent. Millette Burns, MISS DECEMBER, is a senior. Millette was a cheerleader as well as a leader in several activities on campus. Her lovely smile was a welcome sight when she worked as an office helper. 64
