Proud To Be Giants The 1985-86 Freshman Squad had an impressive year as the “baby Giants”. They were led by Head Coach Gregory Tisdom who directed the team to a 6-2 record. Upcoming talent from freshman Runningback Wilbert Anderson was very impressive. Renard Robinson showed good skill and should be a standout player. Defensively young athletes who were big assets to the freshman were Jermomd Adger LB, William Brooks DB, and Jesse Gilmer DT, many other players were helpful. Pictured in upper left is freshmen Quarter¬ back Thatcher Kelly, one of the leaders on the freshman squad. Pictured upper right is the “Baby Giants” freshman Back field. We Love That Bas-Ket-Ball The 1985 86 Lady Giants were definitely no surprise. They were led by head coach Willie Stevens. The Lady Giants were recently ranked 4th in North Louisiana with a record of 17-7. In the last five of their six seasons they have reached the play-offs. This year they were led by the inside-outside combinations of Felicia Hall and Alisa Adams. The Lady Giants were a thrill to watch and a ferocious threat to their opponents. Pictured right are the Lady Giants Guards, who were quite capable of Burning the nets. Pictured from left to right: Sandra “Rat Jones, Lois Carter, Shannon McCullaugh, Alisa Adams, Valerie Fullwood. Below: Cheerleaders get a bit of spirit and entertainment during halftime. Giants Are Getting Prepared. Pictured far right is Lady Giants Head Coach Willie Stevens. His unique style of coaching has taken the Lady Giants to the top.
