In the bottom photo, KTAL-TV, Channel 6 interviewed a panel of students who responded to the topic, “Is the media biased in reporting news concerning school incidents?” The participants were an interviewer from the news staff at Channel 6, Carl Haynes, Ramona Henderson, and Yolanda Mason. In the left photo, Gabriel Harvey has found a quiet place to catch up on some reading. Some members of the football team show their versatility as they become cheerleaders for a day. Members of the squad are (1 to r) “The Unseen ’ Davell Jackson. Jimmy Phillips, Carlos Thomas, Roderick Harris, Chris Morris, and John Alexander. Dependable Mr. Harris prepares trophies, plaques and awards for Green Oaks’ annual Awards Day. The Seniors hope to receive their fair share. But They Study, Too!

In the left photo, the junior class just would not live up to its name if it didn’t have three stiffs, Willie Williams, James Jackson, and Alvin Griffin, stand against the wall and look like they are posing for mug shots. (Below) It’s no use to act, if you can’t do it right. For Aleshia Thompson and Angela Roberson, acting in speech and drama just isn’t enough. They took it to the stage as they portray “Two Old Hags’’ on a talent show. These juniors were honored for maintaining at least a B average. They are what you might call the “cream of the crop. It just goes to show that hard work has its own rewards. Tunya Harper and Ben Brown can always be depended on to help out in emergencies. Ben concentrates on writing copy for the yearbook as Tunya comes in from running errands. Many Rewards
