The team consists of (Kneel¬ ing—1 to r) Korin Kinchen, Angelette Arm¬ strong, Ellis Young, (top row—1 to r) Ben Brown, Byron Caples, A. C. Whitaker, and Sponsor—Mrs. Myers. er r T o h- ' • 3 C-K W

The Freshman Team Keeps Fighting The freshman team made a very determined effort during the 1984-85 Basketball season. The team unfortunately met with agonizing defeat several times. Their four wins and eight losses were bravely fought. Coach Mc¬ Curdy once again directed the team in hours of practice and hoped his players’ shooting would lead them to success. The members of the squad are Odell Stroughter, Artie Smith. Curtis Adams, James Taylor, Edward Savannah and Jimmy Board. In the top right photo, James Taylor, highest scorer, was a great shooter throughout the season. Jimmy Board, (top left photo) a great defensive player helped the game greatly with his dribbling, passing, and stealing balls. In the right photo, “IT’S UP FOR GRABS!”
