Savannah caught eight passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns in the district playoff game against Natchitoches Central. Below, he signs with the University of Southwestern Louisiana. Giants Complete Successful Season The Giants were impressive in pre-season play and as the season progressed, so did the talent on the team. P. Juniel, J. Stinson, R. Smith, M. Taylor, M. Griffin Sets Record Curtis Griffin broke a fifteen year state record by throwing 31 touchdowns in regular season play. He was unamiously selected AAAA All State Outstanding Of¬ fensive player and All American by the Na¬ tional High School Athletic Coaches Association. At left, he is shown signing to play for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Quarterback Griffin shows his passing form which helped him 493 yards and three touchdown passes, a season’s total of 2518 lead the Giants to district playoff status.
