At the Driving Range. Official GMHS Volleyball. r The Tech Arts Mill. i l i l i i Out of every ten teenagers that die every year, seven of them die in car accidents, stated Andy Kintz, who teaches drivers education. We want to correct this situation. But in present years the enrollment in Drivers Ed. has dropped significantly. Where 80'Zn of the sophomore class used to have dri- vers ed. on their schedules, now only a scant 507: remain. However, the class' goals have stayed the same. They want to give students good attitudes and good abilities. Physical fitness is supposidly the key to a long and happy life. But few people realize that P.E. isn't just basketball or soccer. The GMHS P.E. department encompasses everything from power weight training to modern dance, and believe me, there's a lot in between. The department is headed up by Bob Spyk- stra and made up of three other teach- ers including Richi Brown, Don McGatlin, and Craig Place. Ever have an urge to pound on some- thing to relieve your frustrations? Ifyou have, then maybe you should consider Tech Arts. You can take basic T.A., drafting, auto shop, and almost any- thing else you can think of. So next time, don't pound your locker, take Tech Arts.
