Beach day was an- other favorite, unfortunately it was on one of the coldest days students had experienced in several weeks. Airband took place during Win- terfest week, also. Needless to say, it was one of, if not the highlight of the week. The judges this year were se- lected by the senior class. They were as follows: Hal Moore of KHOW, Beth Kerr- Manager of the school store, Don Vigil- Manager of Burger 206 -- Winterfest King, and Russell Decker- GM teacher. All Bands proved to be very competitive this year. The three tina- lists were: The Helicopters- third place, Homegrown- second place, and Log and the Gang- first place. The dance was held on Saturday, February 22nd. This yearls king and queen were Joey Bradley and Jodi Mead. The senior attendants were Dan Kubitschek, Jill Stevens, Chris Parker, Susie Meiser, Joe Kubits- chek, and Laura Inzano. The junior attendants were Michelle McCut- cheon and Jon Bartlett. The sopho- more attendants were Shari Messmer and Jud Connelly and the freshman attendants were Randy Sears and Theresa Tiedman.. The theme of Winterfest was This Could Be the Night by Loverboy.
