Ram Page , Have you ever seen this place? It looks pretty cozy. It's kind of a small room with a couch, curtains over the windows, it's own phone, pictures on the walls and the sign publications on the door. Well, if you havenlt al- ready guessed, its the place where the newspaper staff meets. It is here that they get together to work and put out Ram Page, the voice of Green Mountain High School. Ram Page comes out once a month. It covers all of the major is- sues dealing with school, sports events, whatis happening out side of school, and a lot more. The students also have a chance to tell their side of the story by writing a letter to the editor. Other parts of the newspaper include personnal ads, advertise- ments, and columns. John Brovsky This year, Mr. John Brovskyis first year at Green Mountain, he became the Ram Page sponsor. Even though he is from Alameda High School, the staff still seems to like him. Other than Ram Page sponsor, he was also the coach of track and soccer. In addition to all these exciting new changes, Mr. Brovsky and his wife, Lori, were blessed with a baby daughter this year. We would like to wish him the best of luck! Todd and Dave pose with Bob. Ram Page - 111

Rappin' in Creative Wrilin'. If you were to see the Creative Writ- ing Organization blowing bubbles, eat- ing ice cream, chanting at assemblies, selling popsicles or scrambled eggs and cow brains then you might wonder why they had been made into a class and had started getting grades for it. Well, not only did they do all the above plus put together a book and sell it. They also Creative Writing did the regular classroom activities. They wrote poetry and short stories, they had a large reading list including all of .l.D. Salinger's writings, Slaugh- ter House Five, and the French Lieu- tenant's Woman. They took tests like normal students but the one way in which they were different is that all of them saw the Bananafish.
