This year was The besT TurnouT for new and dlfferenf ideas. Many people dressed alike, and some very inTeresTing cosTumes were worn. On l HaTe Boys Day, every girl in The school was given a piece of consiruc- Tlon paper wiTh l I-laTe Boys wriTTen on iT. ThroughouT The day, The girls could noT Talk To The boys, or They would lose Their buTTon To The boy ThaT had made Them Talk. The nexT day was l Hafe Girls Day, and The boys could noT Talk To The girls. BoTh days were exfremely amusing! On Orange Crush Day, everyone dressed in orange and blue, sup- porTing our ciTie's fooTball Team. Black and Gold Day was a day for represenTing our fabulous school by displaying The unique color combinaTion of our school, black and gold. Toga Day, as usual, was hilarious as people dressed in sheeTs of all colors: whiTe. blue, pink, green, and even purple! The Tra- diTional powder puff fooTball game be- Tween The senior girls and The junior girls Took place on our fooTball field. Flf' , -A ff: HOMECOIVIING Every year, Green Mountain High School has a very important tradition that has al- ways been a lot of fun. It's Homecoming Week! Homecoming this year began with spirit week, followed by the school parade, the homecoming game, and the home- coming dance. Spirit week is a purposeful event intended to make the students and teachers here at Green Mountain High ex- cited about beginning a new school year and meeting new people, but mostly it is an event to arise some enthusiasm from the crowd for the Homecoming Game. involve- ment in fun things is an excellent way to .display school spirit. The events which oc- curred during Homecoming Week were l-lat and T-shirt Day, Gang Day, l Hate Boys Day, I Hate Girls Day, Orange Crush Day, and Black and Gold Day. On T-shirt and Hat Day, students wore their favorite or most unusual hat, and the T-shirt that was most loved by each person.
