VOLLEYBALL Volleyball is fasT becoming a very popular sporT aT Green MounTain. Our girls who parTici- paTed This year were very en- ThusiasTic abouT The season which included TwenTy-Two games. Cver-all, They had a good season wiTh abouT an equal number of wins To losses. Our fine Team was coached by lVlr. Mick Denzin who did a fanTasTic job wiTh The girls. The Team of ThirTeen was headed up by five Seniors who showed and TaughT greaT leadership and sporTsmanship. The resulTs from The nexT Two years should show The TraiTs This year's Sen- iors passed on To The mosTly Sophomore Team. The five Senior girls who helped To pro- duce The winning efforTs were Debbie NalTy, Anna ManTei, PaTTy Wewel, Lori Chavez, and Gayle Groninger. Only six of The TwenTy-Two games were held aT home and Green MounTain won five of Those six. The home aTmo- sphere really helped The girls as iT does anyone who parTici- paTes in any kind of compeTi- Tion. Having a home crowd To cheer Them on broughT on The urge To give Their supporTers The victory They wanTed.
