BOYS BASKETBALL VARSITY The 4979-4980 VarsiTy Bas- keTball Team was The besT Green MounTain has ever had, The Team consisTed of eighT senior players ranging in heighT from 6' To 6'9 and four junior x'STaTe BaiTs . The combinaTion of scores from The pre-season, and Sub-DisTricT TournamenT games gave The Rams an ouT- sTanding 49-2 record, wiTh losses from WheaTridge and Alameda. Tim Lovejoy and Mark Langkamp led The Team in rebounds and Langkamp in scoring, averaging over 20 poinTs per game. AlThough all of The Teams did well, The varsi- Ty produced ouTsTanding re- sulTs. They have been called The Too Tall Team by Their shorTer opponenTs. The Pep Band, The cheerleaders, Ram Rowdies, and of course The coaches and The players made This baskeTball season noT only The mosT exciTing, buT definiTely The besT.
