The club meets twice monthly to hold discussions, to debate, to see iilms, and to hear guest speakers on current world events. It is the hope of all the members that in so doing they will increase their knowledge of the World and the people surrounding these events. Adviser: Mr. McMillan Q 9 I Phi Theta Kappa is the National Honor Society for junior colleges. Green Mountain College is the Gamma Delta Chapter and corresponds to Phi Beta Kappa for four year schools. In order to be eligible for membership, a freshman must have a 2.5 average for two consecutive terms. A senior is eligible if she has a cumulative of 2.5. Upon obtaining this average, the nominee is approved by the faculty and then by the Phi Theta Kappa members. When all the qualifications have been met, nominee is ready to be inducted as a member. Ann Drinker The letters U.S.N.S.A. stand for the United States National Student Associa- tion-a nationally sponsored organiza- tion composed of college students who discuss the problems facing our coun- try.
