CLASS HISTORY ln the fall of T950 Green Lake Hugh School saw a group of twenty two scared freshmen Gulbert Beuthun Harold Brooks Mary Carew Kenneth Fruend Alvun Worchel Margaret Lundberg Wulluam Fordham Robert Schmeck Davud Polcyn Eugene Murr Bruce Heuple Karl Hoffman Charles Stoneberg Raymond Leunss Lawrence Sunnard Roxana Thrall June McBraur Marlene Wells Januce Gregg Davud Schwark Russell Pruebe and Eugene Sandleback The outstandung event durung the year was our unutuatuon unto the freshman class Our class advusor was Mrs Learn T951 T952 Thus year we mussed several famuluar faces but we found a new one here and there Lucy Janze louned our class but Margaret Lundberg Eugene Murr and Russell Pruebe had left Thus year two members of our class reugned over the Homecomung actuvtues They were Lucy .lanze and Eugene Sandleback I February we presented a one act play The Happy Man 1952 T953 Wuth only two years left we were rapudly approachung our goal Karl Hoffman but Marlorue Thrall came to uoun us Thus year we presented the hularuous three act pay Our Muss Brooks We were represented un band glee club the contest play Thespuans Latun Club and Bookworms The most wonderful Prom un many years was our own Stairway To Paraduse Robert Schmeck and .lanuce Gregg reugned as the royal coup'e And of course thus was the year we receuved the loveluest class rungs un the hustory of our school 1953 1954 We finally made ut Senuors at last' Thus year we found Charles Stoneberg and Shurley Herter lounung our class whule Mary Carew left to enter the Unuversuty of Wusconsun Our homecomung under the durectuon of our advusors Mrs Learn and Mr Holmes was a huge success Puctures were taken and the T954 Lac Verd was publushed On Aprul 1 2 we successfully presented the play Heaven Can Wout under the capable durectuon of Mrs Learn Page T2 : I ' I I I 4 I I I .
