Steve Reifschnider, CentraI's outstanding pitcher was named to the All-Northern League baseball team this year, and Don Tennessen and Wilford Talmadge were listed on the honorable mention squad. After a rather shaky start, the Central varsity baseball team got on the winning trail to finish with a 9-9 record. Bad weather forced postponement of most of the ear- ly season games, and most of the conference games were played the last two weeks of the season. A double header with cross-town rival West gave baseball fans a full afternoon. The Cats lost the first game 0-1 in 14 innings and the second 0-4. Mr. Dale Belgin coached the Wildcats nine this year.
