A LETTER FROM THE CLASS OE '87 We have come to realize that loyalty and unity are the keys to the good times that we've shared in the past years. Though we have had our prob- lems, we've managed to work through them, and have grown closer in the process. The moments in our senior and junior years will never be forgot- ten. We know that we have truly been set apart as a holy nation for God. As our high school years are draw- ing to a close, we want to express final thanks to our parents, teachers, and principal. You trusted and believed in us when nobody else did. Through your patient, loving guidance you have laid a strong foundation on which Cod will continue to build. Last year, as we officially became seniors, the Lord impressed upon our class Proverbs 3:1-4: My son, do not forget my teach- ing, but keep my commandments in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you pros- perity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you, bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. As we are faithful, we know that none of your efforts will have been in vain. From our hearts, Thank You. l i I R IH SENIURS Q eo e ge he :wifi -4 QQ 3 X is Sf Q ,, 53? What fun!! Keeping busy For attaining wisdom and discipline, for understanding words of insight, for aquir- ing a disciplined and prudent life, doing what is right and just and fair, for giving prudence to the simple, knowledge and dis- cretion to the young- let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance- for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings of the riddles of the wise. The fear of the Lord is the begin- ning of knowledge, but fools despise wis- dom and discipline. Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck. Proverbs 1:2-9 ADMINISTRATION 8: FACULTY W., Q -ww . Being a part of the vision the Lord gave to Greater Works Outreach has been a tremendous blessing to me. I firmly believe that Scripture clearly instructs us to give our children a Bible-based education whenever the opportunity to do so exists. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession and have been called from darkness unto His marvellous light . At Greater Works Academy, we believe our students will influence their world by seeing it through the precepts as set forth by God. Mr. Ron Malamisuru Director of Education s 1,4 ?e fx s.Q,f , That ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you - is a phrase of pivotal importance to you, the class of 1987, for it embodies the true vision and ultimate purpose for which Greater Works Academy was established. My prayer is that you would show forth the praises of him - reflect the glory of your Savior jesus Christ regardless of which vocation God calls you to fulfill. When all of your future endeavors are judged by God, may they stand on the merit of this Biblical standard outlined in I Peter. For this life will soon be passed, and only what is done for Christ will last. Rev.
