J h Greater Works Academy 301 College Park Drive Monroeville, Pa. 15146 Volume I 14 26 f i -1-a.,,,,,. . 'mi Ronald L. Malamisuro Director of Education . . . , but he that putteth his trust in Me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain. flsaiah 57:13J We at Greater Works Academy have done exactly that - trusted completely in God and have possessed the land. It is only as we continue to be faithful to the task that God has called us to that we will be able to continue to occupy the land. We must not be soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter QII Thessalonians 2:21. We must not be frightened by the giants of the land, but know that God is able to and will see us to the completion of this work. Education at Greater Works Academy is not an alternative to other forms of education, but rather a fulfillment of the belief that children must be brought up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord . Steadfastly believing as Martain Luther said every institution in which men are not unceasingly occupied with the Word of God must be come corrupt . Remember, however, that it takes total commitment by educators, by parents and students to this idea to make it work. Only as we have been unmovable in our resolve to follow the vision that God has given us are we able to say This is the Lord's doing: It is marvelous in our eyes. fPsalm 1181251 'U- Mrs. Theresa Davenport Nurse Mr. Anthony Versace Guidance ,an Xfixfffiot' 9' M Mrs. Paula Wasko Nurse Mr. Paul Caster Mrs. Kathleen Gillen Financial Coordinator Secretary tration Administration dmini tr 'Mu Mr. Edward Baker ' Physical Education Miss Deobrah Barr Eighth Grade Mrs. Marjorie Blend Sixth Grade 2 Mr. Charles Boisture Social Studies aculty Faculty Faculty Faculty F W Mrs. Dorothy Fleming Science Mr. Richard Federline Literature Q , W , J 1 f 3 ,W Mr. Everett Gaston my Mathematics Mrs. Roberta Fulton Art 1lt Faculty Faculty Facult Facu l Mrs. Teri Gathagan Kindergarten X... Their dedication made this book possible. We would like to express our thanks to our cam- era man, Roy Evans, and to Buchman's Studios, without who's help this yearbook would not have been possible. Greater Works will never be the same, and neither will Terry Bradshaw. Terry's message was simple - . . . hang in there - don't give up. Trust God, set your goals, and work hard to reach them. We all felt so honored to have Terry visit our school, and we were thrilled at the humbleness and warmth of this super- star. The time he took to sign each and every autograph and the encouraging words for what we are trying to do here at Greater Works blessed everyone of us. How precious are the feet of those who bring Good News and how privileged we are to walk beside them!
