O F President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Student Council CE HS Iames Beatty Edgar Drum Lucille Ridilla Kathryn Myers Charles Dziak COMMENCEMENT PLANS capture interest of officers Lucy, Kitty Io, lim, Ed and Chuck as long-awaited day draws near At the beginning of the school term five ofifcers were elected to represent the class of '53. Iames Beatty led them as president and Edgar Drum as vice-president. Recording the minutes as secretary was Lucy Hidilla and Kitty Io Myers kept tab of all expenditures. Senior problems were brought before the Student Council by Charles Dziak. Miss Florence Bree- ton acted as faculty adviser for the group. On both the football field and basketball court, Fred Bell showed his colors. Fred Zenone wielded his tennis racquet and Clarence Clair put on his track shoes to also star for Latrobe. In the All-Class Play, Tom Lawford, Kitty Myers, and Eleanor Palmer displayed their act- ing ability. Iim Beatty, Bob Steele, Ioe Visconti, and Tom Lawford brought honors to their class by placing in the Rotary Oration contest. And so, all that's left to say is- Where, oh where are the stately seniors .... ?
