COURSE DESCRIPTION The Medical Laboratory Technician's Assistant program provides experience in the processes, methods. and use of equipment common to medical laboratories. Emphasis is placed on chemistry, mathematics, scientilic procedure. and related technical information. After completing 2 years at Vo-Tech the student will have an opportunity to enter the I4 month program at a local hospital. Upon acceptance and completion of the program at the hospital, students will be eligible to take the test for National Certified Lab Technician Assistant licensing.
