They are a group of dedicated Christ1ian' men who are -dieeply interested ln the development of the College. They guide its future with sound' policies, top adrnin1i's1trators and the firmness of solid financial commitments and performance. Th-ey are a bwy of fifteen in number. Serving five year llerrns and all are 1memIbers1of one or more fufnetioning committees.. Quarterly meetings are 'held' each year with num1er1ous comrwlltee meetings de1man1dl1ng their time and efforts. They inspire the administration with their eAxper1i1enc-e'an1Ql s1pe1ci-al talents and act as a wlrvdow to the outside world. Together the disciples had eaten, dreamed, paddled, prayed, learned, worried, reasoned, and grown. Now they would face the world in a very different way. They would part. And when the day of final exams had come . . . Together we have eaten, dreamed, worked prayed, learned, worried, reasoned, and grown. Now we must face the world in a very different way. We must part. Many times the letters of our beloved school have suggested the mission which our parting brings: go, love, bleed, cry, GLBC. G0 to all the world and tell them of Jesus. LOVE especially the unlovely, as God has loved us. None else can love them like we can. BLEED, if need be. Let us win the lost at any cost. CRY out loud like John the Baptist. Let the whole world know of his forgiveness. Let us cry to God at night for each other, that we may all serve him well with all our might. My dear friends at Great Lakes, for Jesus' sake let us go, love, bleed, cry. X
