It is good to think of being freed from that care and worry, which many people do not think we really have ; it is good to know that we have stood the test of four years and have not yet been found wanting in stick-to-it-iveness, that makes us a little proud of ourselves ; it is good to know that we have completed some work that so many of the pupils do not complete ; it is good for those of us who are going to college to know that we have run the biggest part of the race and are now just about to enter the home stretch in our race for an education. We can almost see the wire and hear the applause, which comes in the form of a good position in society and in the .business world. But how few of us are going to college ! It seems a shame and a pity that out of forty-seven graduates there, in all probabilities, will
