At times the Mustangs were hot. They dumped unbeaten Cut Bank 47-42 and a highly rated Fairfield team 59-53. ln the Northern B Division tournament, which was held February 22-24 in Central's new gym, the Mustangs, getting innumerable tough breaks, were edged in two he-art-breaking tight games. They were upset by Chinook 42-40 and again by Conrad 53-52. Central's offensive average per game of 47.3 slightly out-did their oppon- ent's average of 46.9.
