Qyfzeaklenlj Weaaaye Students of Great Commission Schools: The vision has its own appointed hour, it ripens, it will flower, if it be long, then wait, for it is sure, and it will not be late. Hab. 2:3 -Moffat Translation. Someone has said that God is never in a hurry - and is never late. The first test of every God-given vision is de- lay. The second is more delay. The third is still . more delay. Rev. Paul E. Billheimer The inner history of every fulfilled vision is President GCS one of desperate courage, frequent disappointment, heartsickening frustration, dogged persistence and relentless determination. Its most decisive factor is staying power in the face of unexpected opposition, of unanticipated obstacles, of uncalculated risks, of uncomprehended foes and of apparent permanent defeats. . All that is finally proved to be of God always has its own Gethsemane, its own Calvary, and finally its death and resurrection. All this because God's purpose is the worker rather than the work. There is no conquest except upon the battlefield. If you are going on with God to front line service, you must be reconciled to constant pressures from invisible evil spirits, to endless opposition from formidable and unrelenting unseen foes, and to hand to hand conflicts with Satanic forces. To live on the battlefield you must become conditioned to constant jeopardy, to surprise attack and counter attack, to the smell of smoke and the stench of blood. Not a pretty picture, but that is the price of conquest, of final triumph, and glorious reward. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne. Rev. 3:21 The only alternative to utter expendability for those who have seen the vision, is to rot inside. Students of Great Commission Schools, the choice is yours. That choice will decide whether you will sink to be a clod or become fuel for the flame of God. 6204? The effecfucl fervent prayer of cr righfous man cvailefh much. - Jas. 5:16
