MISS ALICE UNRUH , English and Journalism instructor is supervisor of the publication of the Panther Tales and the Rhorea. Her hobby is evident in her class room. She likes to grow and collect different varieties of plants. M. S. . Fort Hays State College. VERNER WILLIAMS can be found anywhere about the building. He is the instructor of distributive education, the cafeteria ticket seller and a junior class sponsor. Outside of the building he likes to work with wood and furniture and in his garden. M. S. . Fort Hays State College. Track coach HERMAN WILSON teaches Biology. Anything connected with sports catches his interest. His ambition is to be a college coach. B. S. , Kansas State College. If you are a rose admirer, you should join up with CLYDE G. WINTER. the industrial arts instructor. Mr. Winter likes to grow roses for his own enjoyment. B. S.. Kansas State College. alfuky ' 5 Cakferia ga!! MILDRED DODD fills her spare time with sewing and raising flowers. ANN FOLKERTS, head cafeteria worker. enjoys crocheting. vt' .41-.,--' K . we 1 at Y' EMERSON MacDONALD is another teacher who has been bitten by the travel photography bug. Mr. MacDonald is an English and speech instructor. His directing ability is on public display twice a year in the junior and senior 3-act plays. A. B., Southwestern College, Winfield. Kansas. ROGER MARSH, mathematics instructor, is in demand when the public address system goes on the blink. Mr. Marsh's hobby is fooling around with radios. B. S. , KSTC, Emporia, Kansas. MRS. JOSEPHINE MARSHALL teaches Latin and Spanish. Mrs. Marshall is kept jumping by her job as sponsor of both the JCL and the Los Hidalgos. Needle work and books hold her attention. B. S., KSTC, Pittsburg, Kansas. MRS. DORIS PAGE'S job takes her all over the building and half the country side. She goes from gym to swimming to health. Mrs. Page is sponsor of the Pep Club and is the girls' tennis team coach. When she's at home she likes to excercise her hobby of interior decorating. B. S.. KSTC, Pittsburg, Kansas. Many an unsuspecting neighbor has fallen prey to LESTER SPONG'S hobby of home movies of his travels. Besides putting his life in jeopardy several times a day in his chemistry and physics classes, Mr. Spong is a sponsor of the senior class and the Camera Club. B. S. , Ottawa University. H. A. STARKEY, industrial arts instructor, displays a wry sense of humor. When asked about his hobby, he shrugged his shoulders and said it was keeping the year book staff cornfused as to what his hobby was. He is a Student Council advisor. B. S. , KSTC, Emporia, Kansas. If anyone needs to be shown to his seat, he calls for MISS MARY TRUXAL, who is in charge of the ushers needed for school activities. Miss Truxal is one of the mathematics instructors. Her hobby used to be horseback riding but is now weed pulling. A. B., University of Colorado. MISS MARCELLE TUBBS likes music all around her. She is the vocal music instructor. and her hobby is collecting records. Miss Tubbs' work is on public display several times a year with choir concerts and the operetta. B. M. . Bethany College.
