Text from Pages 1 - 100 of the 1982 volume:

“The Times of Your Life” Good Morning, yesterday. You wake up, and time has slipped away. And suddenly it’s hard to find, The memories you left behind. Remember. Do you remember? The laughter and the tears, The shadows of misty yesteryears, The good times and the bad you’ve seen, And all the others in between. Remember. Do you remember, the times of your life? Each laugh with a joy and a sorrow, Put them away in your mind. For memories are times that you borrow, To spend when you get to tomorrow. Here comes the setting sun, The seasons are passing one by one. So gather moments while you wait, Collect the dreams you dreamed today. Remember. Will you remember, the times of your life. Remember. Do you remember the times of your life. Paul Anka Lyrics — Bill Lane Music — Roger Nichols Copyright — 1974 Three Eagles Music A divison of: Roger Nichols Music Inc. NINETEEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-TWO ACTIVITIES |Prophecy A local fortune teller is about to take you forward in time to the year 2002, the 20th anniversary of the Graduation of the class of “82”. “First I see Sherry McCarty selling her own line of designer jeans which she calls MACS. Next is Robby Spencer who always warjted to make the Rodeo Circuit, hut the closest he could come was riding mechanical bulls. Angie Glover is now the star player for the USA volleyball team. The only problem is that the rest of the team ts midgets. Celina Schmittler has become the 5th blonde to star on the stillrunning TV show 3’s Company. Bill Henshaw is now a Demolition Derby driver, who carries no passengers so they won’t fall out of his car. Scott Way is living in Florida where he spends most of his time chasing his pet shark “Tooth”. Barry Warmack is serving time in prison for accumalating 1000 parking???tickets without paying any of them. Lester Yoos opened his own chain of fast food resturants. He calls them Mooseheads but doesn’t seem to be getting much business since they are all set in the northern rockies. Kathy Nau has gone to work for radio-free Europe. She stays on the air 24 hours a day to block out signals from Russia. Eddie Linder is making bundles of money on his new invention — a car horn that plays all of ACDC’s latest hits. “Barry Kinsall finally learned how to dance and is now a male belly dancer for The Exotic HE Lounge. Phillip Traywick has moved to Alcatraz Island where he opened a T-Shirt shop whose specialty is “They shut down Alcatraz so I could open this T-Shirt Shop”. Susan Buttry has become a dedicated PE teacher in her home town of Grayville. Carol Keel went to Nashville in hope of singing with Dolly Parton. To her dismay the closest she could come was to being Dolly’s housekeeper. 'Fad Taylor is in The Guiness Book of World Records for having the worlds first invisible beard. He keeps it in shape with After-Tweeze Tweezing Lotion. Murlin McGarvey has invented an inflatable Snak Pak for those hungry High School students. Rick Tisdale now resides on the High School lawn after going into shock when he was told he graduated 20 years ago. Robert Blackford decided to sail around the world but became shipwrecked on an island where he met a female headhunter and started his own version of “Blue Lagoon”. Scott Mann seems ■•tiff'be somewhere in Africa where he has set up a portable Animal Hospital. So far his only patient has been a giraffe with a stiff neck. Sherry Hatcher is now happily married with 10 kids of her own to teach how to tie up balloons that won’t fall down. “Gerri Cowling has become the first woman to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. She seems to be having a little trouble getting to the games since she keeps showing up at a local lake. John Racine is now the head photographer for Playboy Magazine, but the only problem is he keeps taking pictures of real bunnies. Leasa Howard has become the worlds fattest lady in a traveling circus. Sam Pollard, the ringmaster, is having a great time still cracking people up. Stephanie Meredith is in Hollywood trying out for the new Shirley Temple. Randy Easton has become a preacher in northern Alaska. He doesn’t seem to have a congregation since he went too far north. Jeff Pritchett has opened his own mowing service and is available by appointment only. Lesa Jones has just been crowned Possum Queen in her home town of Hodgsonville. Tracy Pearson married himself in a mirror and now resides in a house full of mirrors. Lisa Clancy and Cheryl Bunting went into business together. They bought the Jack Daniels distillery and now call it ’ “empty”.
