November 2, 1966 After several weeks of anxious waiting and promises of We ARE getting electric typewriters, the first large blue and white boxes of IBM Selectric Typewriters arrived. The first few days were hectic--not all the machines were here; everybody wanted to use one. Did any more come?” was the first question asked every day. But it was worth all the waiting --no more moving carriages; no more sticking keys; just a small globe-shaped element that skims across the page. Timing scores went up and none of us complain of tired fingers. The Fifth-hour Typing I class is all set for a demonstration by Mr. Ream. The shorthand students now have a chance to get extra practice with the new IBM EXECUTARY DICTATION EQUIPMENT. THE CAST May 4-5, 1967 THE BELLE OF THE WEST Under the sponsorship of Mr. Bishop and the Music Club, THE BELLE OF THE WEST proved to be one of the highlights of the spring activities around Grayville High. Much preparation and hard work went into producing this fine stage show. Our congratulations to the cast, Mr. Bishop, and Mrs. Gross, who assisted back stage. It'll jest get dirty again!
