The Bible Chair defense stops a rampag- ing COA ball carrier. COA Grabs 2nd Mural Crown The flag football program met with success again this season. Eight teams played a round robin schedule. Teams from Sigma, B.S.U. and C.O.A. tied for first place with only one loss each. The championships were played on November 14 by COA and BSU after a coin toss was used to deter- mine which of the three teams would compete in the champion- ship game . C . O . A . won the championship for the second time. The games were officiated by students and supervised by coaches Barker and Spivey. Murals Offer Varied Sporis Intramural Basketball was very well received this year. The Boys' Athletic Dorm beat Denison in the finals, which were played in December. There were eight teams which competed for the championships. These champion- ships were held under a bracket elimination system. The Bible Chair women won the volleyball finals when they defeated George's girls. ,xxx 7 Intramurals provide good exercise for all who participate. 2 Jim Jackson passes back out to a teammate during playoff game .
