The games played in the fall are practice games against other schools and inter-squad. A large number of athletes are playing baseball this year. Coach Allen Barker reports an average of two players for each position. The pitching staff has especially good depth and strength. Some players are receiving baseball scholarships. The spring schedule was increased from 40 to 48 games. 14 of the games are against Junior colleges and some of the teams are from as far away as Wisconsin and Iowa.
