C . , Barry Bates, biology instructor, and volunteers from his class set out to find out biological facts about Hagerman Wildlife Refuge, west of Pottsboro. There are numerous surveys being conducted at various refuges throughout the U . S . , but this is the first one at Hagerman. The objective of the study is to determine which species of fish, amphibians, reptiles, and mammals are found in the refuge. Several methods of identification and capture are used which do not harm the animals. Information gained in this manner will be published in pamphlet form and made available to visitors .
