Unpictured is Debbie Gidne Y - 'Yi' Telling stories helps pass the time . Girl's Dorm: A Happy Place The gir1's dorm is a place for fun, studying, and many different kinds of activities. The dorm con- sists of 41 rooms, two study halls, and a large lounge area for visit- ing and other activities. Each room was built to accommodate three girls, but in some rooms there are only two. There are 90 girls in the dorm at this time. Lois Clark, the dorm mother says that she enjoys the experience very much. She also says that it is very interesting and that there is never a dull moment. Some of the activities in which dorm girls participate include: watching T.V. , hand sewing, Rodeo, Basketball, Gun Club, and Tennis. The dorm recreation room provides a place to get together. If three's a crowd , this must be a mob.

Boys Dorm The Boys Dorm provides room- ing and boarding facilities for up to '70 Grayson boys. Dorm activity is usually centered around the tel- evision lounge or an individual study area in each room . Shuttle bus service provides transportation from the West Campus where the dorm is located, to classes on the East Campus. The dorm's five member coun- cil meets bi-monthly and consid- ers matters of importance to the dormitory and its occupants. l Wild Game DeIigh+s Faculty A 'Wild Game' dinner is sponsored for the faculty of Grayson County College. All varieties of meat were prepared, which were furnished by the faculty and Gun Club members, during this year's killing. Vegetables and dessert were served with the meat although not free to the faculty. This year the menu included delicacies of: bass, venison, duck, goose, and trout. The gourmet dinner was organized by Barry Bates, Jerry Ables, and Chuck Samples. The decorations and serving duties'were performed by members of the Gun Club . Barry Bates, Gun Club sponsor, serves Larry Eastman one of the ducks supplied by faculty hunters . 1 .vii f 1. .
