A small gallery has been created within their building so that student work may be displayed throughout the year. The Stage Band and Voyagers con- tinued to perform for large and varied audiences in the area and as in the past, both groups entertained at the State Fair of Texas. This year's musical, The Fantas- tics, played both on campus, and, by invitation, in Lubbock. giffi Music instructor, David Petrash teaches his students how to tune a piano . rx ' ' 31' - '11 ' , .. ' -ifirmzfa-1-1-ff' Physical Education I 0 o 0 Dlvlslon This year a new Physical Education division was created. The division includes intramural sports , athletic activities, physical education classes, the golf course and pro shop, and the swimming pool. Under the direction of former bas- ketball coach Jim Spivey, the division has been expanded considerably. Full athletic scholarships are now offered in tennis, golf, and track, as well as bas- ketball and baseball. Enrollment in the intramural sports program is on the increase as students take advantage of intramural credit courses. A popular slimnastics course has also been started this year. The Slirnnastics class was a good way for female students to reduce weight and tone muscles. Here, Melody Fullylove heads a line of 30 hopeful students.
