Its purpose is to help stu- dents preparing for a career in busi- ness. The college business fraternity voted unanimously to donate their left-over bingo prizes to the Mental Health and Retardation Center. The prizes were donated by area mer- chants and will be used in the MHMR token store. The token store, a part of the MHMR behavioral mod- ification program, depends solely on community donations. Freshman Bernie Smith talks to area busi- nessmen during Afro-American History Week. , Afro-American S'I'uc:len+ Union The Afro-American Student Union was formed to promote black awareness and give the community a better understanding of what it means to be a black American. The club collected money this fall to aid area families without enough money to pay hospital bills. Also participated in and sponsored by the club was Afro-American History Week. Included in the week's activities were a Style show, a reli- gious musical, a dance, an art show, and a soul food dinner. s.
