'Saga' Sfaff The Saga Staff is the organiza- tion that puts out the Grayson County College Yearbook. This staff is composed of: an editor, two reporter-typists and three photographers. The staff has five deadlines throughout the year, the last of these deadlines being Feb- ruary 20th. The staff sponsors a high school yearbook workshop in late Sep- tember, at which yearbook staff members from area high schools are trained, and also goes to the Taylor Publishing Company each year, during which the members receive training. Another place visited by the staff is the Texas Junior College Journalism Associ- ation convention, which is held in College Station at Texas A8aM. .....--,L - -- x .. The purpose of the Student Affairs Congress is to promote student leadership, to allow avenues of complaint and suggestions, and act as a go- between for students and fac- ulty. The activities sponsored by this group are: Western Week, dances, concerts, homecoming, and a Spring Activities Day in April which is a 1950's day. They also plan a Chess Tournament after spring break, and will sponsor another concert this spring. There are 13 elected mem- bers of the group. Also each club on campus has a repre- sentative who attends the S.A.C. meetings and has voting privileges.

Voyagers Travel +o Spread Song GCC's traveling choir, the Voyagers, enjoyed a busy schedule this season. The group performed for such various audiences as those of the State Fair of Texas, area high schools, and local clubs such as the Lions, Rotary, and Kiwanis.
