Director Charles McAdams leads the band as they play a tune from the twenties for a receptive Fair Audience. Band En+er1'ains a+ S+a+e Fair Once a year the G. C. C. band is invited to the State Fair of Texas to perform. This year they were accompanied by Ronelle Castleberry, Miss Valkha X, of G.C.C. During their stay of one day they performed 5 times, playing such selec- tions as Summer Time, You Are the Sunshine of My Life, Nothing from Nothing, and Delta Dawn. During this year, they were active in the Inter-Collegiate Band performances which were sponsored by Texas Jr. Colleges at Houston, Texas. They also attended a work shop spon- sored by the Woody Hermit Orchestra. Some of the Dixeland band and the Social Social Class Band.
