The radio sTaTion provides The sTudenTs wiTh acTual on The air Training in preparaTion Tor a proTessional career KGCC-FM Began lTs FourTh Year On The Air KGCC-FM, Grayson CounTy College radio sTaTion, began iTs TourTh year on The air, broadcasTing various caTegories oT music Trom easy lisTening To soul and hard 'roclc aT 89.7 MHZ on The FM band. The sTaTion broadcasTed Trom noon unTil midnighT giving The news every hour and The news headlines every halT hour. Each OT The I4 disc jockeys were responsible Tor The ediTing and announcing OT The news during his pro- gram. KGCC also broadcasTed all oT The home games and some oT The selecTed ouT-oT-Town games. This year There were a varieTy oT courses oTTered in The area oT Radio STa- Tion Technology ranging Trom AdverTising To Programming To STaTion Management The radio sTaTion was designed To give sTudenTs pracTice under acTual broadcasTing condiTions.
