With a large number of new freshmen in the band, there was a lot of new talent that helped a great deal . The band played during the play intermissions at the Junior Play, played two concerts, and of course, the festival in the Spring. Mr. Kessinger is the conductor, and Bill- Keller is student conductor. HQ 'IIA

Pegg, M. Donnelly, M. Cripe, C. Anderson, M. Molis, K. Waters. This year's chorus performed at the Winter concert, the spring con- cert, and at baccalaureate. In addition, members of the chorus partici- pated in the county music festival in March. Five members of choral ac- tivities also represented Grayslake Community High School at the solo and ensemble auditions in February. In addition to the twenty Women in the chorus, a few male Vocalists participated in a special section of the choral program. A mid-Winter party was held for the members of the chorus . Mrs . Shirley is the chorus director. 'II6
