If the teams needed anything from a bottle of Iodine to a little publicity, the coaches went out and dug some up. They spared no effort trying to build the best team possible. Our other smiling men behind the scenes are the managers, They are the ones who kept 'em rolling. If there was a job to be done, an errand to be run, an ankle taped, one had to ' ll f just ca or a manager and the job, no matter how small, was sure ro get done. Hats off to the men behind the scenes.

The reverses ofthe football season seemed to have been carried all through the basketball season. In spite of these discouragements, the '48 Basketball team can be commended for their stick-to-it-ive-ness and the fact that they always fought whether in victory or defeat.
