GRAYSLAKE 15 St. Marys scored before Rams got started. On the next kickoff Les Stang runs 70 yds. to tie the score, Peterson misses the point. Wambaugh inter- cepts and runs ball to 3 yd. line. From there Winters takes it over on the next play. Chris kicked the point and the Rams led 1336. Good line play fea- tured the rest of the game except for a pass which scored for St. Marys in the last quarter. They missed the point by inches and the Rams had their first victory of the year. ANTIOCH IZ .....,. ........ G RAYSLAKE 13 Again in this game the Rams were quickly behind 6-0. Then followed the Rams first aerial score of the year, Wambaugh to Snyder. The next kickoff put Antioch ahead again as Kraft swept 60 yds. to score. After the half the Rams put on their last steady drive. Wambaugh scored and kicked the point. The Rams had another game in the bag and line play made the final score 1312. The Heacllincrs . . ELGIN RESERVES 13 ........ GRAYSLAKE 0 Elgin broke in front on a long pass and a heavy line stalled the Rams. Grayslake was close to paydirt many times but repeated fumbles and bad plays stopped them. In the second half Elgin scored again on a pass to put the Rams behind 13-O. Good play by Peterson and Burke was the best the Rams 1. could offer. ELMHURST 26 ...,... ..... G RAYSLAKE 0 RAMS travel to Elmhurst, only to be held scoreless again. Game was featured by the visitors being trampled by experience and weight. Burke's fine play was the Rams chief bright spot . . . this was the game which pepped up the team for Home- coming on the next Saturday.
