Emerald Staff 47348 E have presented here, through the Door to the Future , the things we will always want to remember about our high school dazevour clubs. athletics, dances, friends, and even the classes. Much of the work was centered in the dining room of the home of Marilyn Hook. There the staff worked: mounting pictures, writing copy, organizing the magazine campaign, and planning money making ventures. Here also some sleep was lost, some Hngernails lowered, and a few cobwebs loosened from brain cells. In the meantime the business managers made the rounds selling ads. Perhaps this doesn't sound like much work, but it's an all-year job. Possibly you noticed --the teachers did that flashbulbs were popping much of the time. And have you ever thought how difficult it is to keep track of all the happenings during a school year? Students come students go, you have a dance- 'I have a dance. Another article for the EMERALD. But that's not the spirit. We've had headaches, we've griped, and we've still enjoyed it, This book is for you. We all know it by heart. So if we help you remember in the dim future a little bit about the year of '48, our purpose is achieved.
