f GRUTZ, PAT, JERRY ' JUNE 4, 1948, Graduation night for the class of '48. This is the class who gave the first play, the first dance in the new building, and no one will ever forget our first prom at Glen Flora. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm became the motto for an ambi- tious class which set an example for doing things. Donald Snyder was the opening pres- ident and jerry Winters, his vice-president, followed to lead the class through their Senior year. Individual names can not be mentioned to describe the spirit which has carried this group from various schools to unified perfec- tion. Every member contributed his portion Prefidenr. ..... .,.. j ERRY WINTERS Vice Prerident .... .... -I OAN DANAHER Secretary ...... , .,......... PAT CAMPBELL Treasurer ......... HAROLD GRUTZMACHER Seniors to these last busy years trying to do things for the beneht of the school and those of the community who will follow their steps in the future. Those first class rings of green and white, representing the school's colors, ordering in- vitations, being measured for caps and gowns, and counting credits, all the preparations for the last glorious days. This is the parting for many who have grown to love and honor the new educational venture designed to better the entire community. This group won't be back next year, or the year after that, but their interest will remain forever in the FUTURE of G.C.H.S.! !
